Camedor
“Alba”

2017 has begun, and while I normally reserve the start of the year for listening exclusively to Steely Dan, Seattle’s Debacle Records dropped news of their annual January mega sale. While their back catalog is priced at a deep discount ($7 for vinyl?!? Outrageous!), they called attention to a slate of new albums. Coming up in February is En Ut/Alba, from José Orozco Mora’s Camedor project. The album’s B-side, “Alba,” is streaming below, and I’m already ensconced in this deep, zoned out space. Pre-orders are up now, and while you’re at it, pick up some of Debacle’s choice albums while they’re on sale. En Ut/Alba drops February 10, but don’t delay, as there are only 100 copies of that sweet, sweet vinyl.
