♫♪  Cameron Stallones & Nicholas Malkin - “SONNE”

To catch you up on what good-old Sun Araw (a.k.a. Cameron Stallones) and Afterhour’s Nicholas Malkin have been up to: they’re continuing to have a busy year. Nicholas dropped his newest Not Not Fun album Post-Geography on cassette around winter-time, and switched it up by releasing Christmas Lights Through a Rain-Streaked Migraine under his birth-name on LP via Non Projects; Cameron fucking shit up with the SUN ARAW BAND XII in Europe (including two live sets on the Bandcamp), burn’t it all down with S. Araw “Trio” XI on the Drag City release of Gazebo Effect, and just today dropped four new cassette tapes on his labEl Sun Ark. This batch consisted the merging of both artists in the surprise CSx40 release, MUSIC FROM HARVESTER.

As the subtitled to MUSIC FROM HARVESTER reads, “COMPOSITIONS FOR FARFISA VIP345 & GUITAR,” Cameron Stallones & Nicholas Malkin tease listeners with the track “SONNE” from their limited edition [of 150] double cassette, presenting sound entanglements aplenty. Soft guitar jux’d by keys so well volumed with imposition, climaxing after warbled harmony into a glitched array of synthetic siren flanging that paces a mediation worth venturing. And I want more. So much more. You can too if you head on over to the Sun Ark shop! There’s a sweet little package deal included. But in the wait-time, listen by clicking the SoundCloud player below:
