Colin Langenus was one half of NYC power noise duo USAISAMONSTER. I could go on about how their penultimate Space Programs blew me away in college, but I could just as easily go over to the Delorean section for that (and I just might. Why the hell not!). Colin has been releasing much mellower folk rock since his previous band’s demise, and “Fever Dream,” taken off the recently released Proven, finds Colin L. in a Grateful Dead/Rusted Root mood. As silly as that combination sounds, it is a real winner. As evidenced by the above album art, Langenus is an older, mellower man, yet still keeping his mystical, journeyman vibe going.
