TMT favorite Josephine Foster and Spanish musician Victor Herroro have teamed to release a live rendition of Las Canciones Populares Espanolas, a collection of songs from 1931 by Federico Garcia Lorca that were originally banned by Franco’s dictatorship. The album is due November 2 on Fire Records, the label that also released this year’s fantastic Graphic as a Star (TMT Review).

Blank Dogs have released the first song from their forthcoming Captured Tracks release, Land and Fixed. Due October 12, the album boasts 12 of the best songs I’ve ever heard in my life. (Full disclosure: I have never heard the album.)
