“Vowel After a Pause”
Ohayo was formed by Andreas Söderström (Ass), Johan Berthling (Tape), and Per Eklund during a tour as backing band for El Perro del Mar, a.k.a. Sarah Assbring. Their new album, The State We Are In, is due May 10 on Häpna. Maybe now they can have El Perro del Mar back them up on tour?

Portland’s experimental deep house act Finesse, featuring the duo of Susan Ploetz and Avalon Kalin, are releasing their debut 12-inch on Ecstasy this week. The video above was originally aired as part of Experimental 1/2 Hour, a bi-weekly cable access show from their neck of the woods.
Brian Eno is releasing Drums Between the Bells, his second album for Warp, on July 5. Read more about it here.
“Lion Of Judah”
Dylan Ettinger, who released this slice of brilliance last year, is back! Actually, he was already ‘back’ when he released Botany Bay earlier this year on NNA Tapes, but I suppose we can say he’s back again, and he’s bearing yet another gift: a new 7-inch single, “Lion of Judah,” on Not Not Fun. Word has it that he’ll be back soon with a new tape on Moon Glyph.
Antony and the Johnsons
“Swanlights (Oneohtrix Point Never Re-mix)”
Last year, Antony Hegarty remixed the title track from Oneohtrix Point Never’s Returnal (TMT Review). This year, OPN “returnals” the favor with a remix of the title track from Antony and the Johnsons’ Swanlights EP, which was released via Secretly Canadian for Commodity Fetishism Day. Check out the stream at Disco Naïveté. (via FACT)

“Don’t Need It Anyway”
New video from Lexington, Kentucky’s Trailblazer. I believe that’s him in the vid, looking slightly like a woman trying to look like a greaser-man while eating a piece of chicken. It works! Check soon for a 7” on Moniker Records.
