Since The Pheromoans dropped their Self Titled tape on Night People Records, I’ve been an undying fan. When 2011 hit and they popped off FOUR FUCKING 12-INCHES (so.. 48-Inches in 2011). In 2012, they went two-deep, but last year we only got a lick of 7-inches from the fellahs four.
Now that 2014 has arrived at summer’s destination (well, I mean, tomorrow is the first day of summer), The Peromoans’ newest 12-inch Hearts Of Gold is ready to sway listeners to the heat. “Young Black Eyes” is one of their first singles for the season, and it’s perfectly cruise-beat prepared. Windows are down. Arms are outstretched. And we’re ready for take off! But be careful of them dark gazes, ‘cause around every shaded corner, them “Young Black Eyes” lingering up a storm of fun.
