♫♪  Yong Yong - Orson Welles’ Parents [extracts]

Y’all, I think I’m developing a pretty depressive anger problem. I believe it stems from this mentality that I over think things way too much. Drive. Leaving Grams for general personal time. Trying to relax when I know there’s just a list of shit for me to do. I can never get everything done, nor does anyone notice I do anything at all, then they proceed to tell me their burdens, and all I think about is that list of shit I still gotta do without appreciation. Outside living in the most overloaded population density suburbs in America (Long Island), barricaded by young families, retirees, or people my age who still live with their parents and talk about school. SCHOOL? WHAT FUCKING SCHOOL?? 10 YEARS AGO: SCHOOL??

So, I’ve been trying to find some reason and peace and calm. I get married in 25 days. And I found Orson Welles’ Parents by Yong Yong waiting for me in a Boomkat SPAM BOX e-mail, next to a rereel of Golden Teacher’s release from last year, GDDB. Listened to a few sample tracks, and then the Orson Welles’ Parents [extracts] (below), and found an unusual calming effect within its fried dub and crooked radio-tuned melodies, sampled cracks and broken synthetics: it’s always pleasant knowing someone is there for you through art they subconsciously meet on an emotional sound level, and one that isn’t told to listeners. It’s private. And purely relaxing.

So I made my way over to Akashic Records, found out they still fuck with GBP (as does Boomkat), but are like $10 cheap, so I gripped up Orson Welles’ Parents and GDDB, and am awaiting to reel. Scope below and feel that reel:
