♫♪  DIRTY TAPES FROM RUSSIA - An Exploration of Russia’s Progressive Deep House and Underground Club Culture

Dirty Tapes is kicking it all down right now. Aside being (from what I can assume) completely oblivious to the fact that this genre “hardvapour” exists — which is the greatest blow-off and do-my-own-thang in music right now — but Dirty Tapes is also flagrantly stomping out these hyphy club-violence “we’re political sound-artists” bullshit, along with lo-fi “we just switched from beats-to-techno” heads that are clearly rolling with trends. No, Dirty Tapes went beyond just trying to keep hip. Dirty Tapes foregoes all the nonsense post-vaporwave “we make hard dance music now.” UPLIFT // EVERYTIME fucking went to visit family in Russia, and came back with 78 minutes of An Exploration of Russia’s Progressive Deep House and Underground Club Culture, running the collaboration with система (system)under the name: DIRTY TAPES FROM RUSSIA.

Oh, you missed the array of photos taken during this trip? Just sift through the lotion-bottle worth of An Exploration of Russia’s Progressive Deep House and Underground Club Culture tape pics first, snoop some VERY live shots, and discover the colors of DIRTY TAPES FROM RUSSIA’s tour. Corse those visuals through them veins to experience the colors of An Exploration of Russia’s Progressive Deep House and Underground Club Culture. There’s not facade. Nothing that’s “trying” too hard. An Exploration of Russia’s Progressive Deep House and Underground Club Culture is legitimacy. The mark has physically been met and made. Hunted down in clubs, bars, basements, and abandonment. DIRTY TAPES FROM RUSSIA is the footprint. Who’s walking with em? FACTS is below:

Venturing deep into the world of Russia’s deep house and underground club culture, DIRTY TAPES collaborates with with Ukraine’s СИСТЕМА (SYSTEMA) label to bring a compilation cassette of groundbreaking progressive dance tracks. This project includes many up and coming underground producers, as well as a few key players of the electronic scene expanding Russia’s network of satellite cities. Spanning a whopping 78 minutes, (39 min per side) - this compilation is a great entry point into this potent and often overlooked electronic scene from across the world. Dirty Tapes From Russia is a first of a series of compilation cassettes aimed to bridge the gap between New York’s driving beat scene and Russia’s bass culture scene, with Volume two in the works you can expect more to come from this unique series.
