♫♪  Morly - “The Choir (Meishi Smile Remix)”

Minnesotian Secret Song vet Morly (a.k.a. Kate Morely) released a new single last month called “The Choir” on Cascine. The gorgeous minimalist stature Morly holds is brutally confident, slaying the low-lying, Psymun-aided production. It’s a song that noted Cascine fan Meishi Smile (a.k.a. Garrett Yim) decided to remix into one of the most focused pieces he’s made in years. The single now plays out as a Scandinavian slow dance for half and an atmospheric noise track for the other – the last two-and-a-half minutes alone are a crushingly good project waiting to be explored. You should play a show as Axel Willner for Halloween, Meishi Smile. Just a thought.
