From the almighty Foot Village:
As a thank you to everyone involved with our recent trip to EU/UK, we have put together this free online comp of bands that we played with. It also includes to live recordings of Foot Village from one of our most raging shows, CCA in Glasgow. Both tracks are previously unreleased in any form.

Field Music are set to release, Field Music (Measure), February 16 on Memphis Industries. It’s a double album, by the way.
Waiting for Something [documentary]
Here’s Waiting for Something, a 21-minute documentary on Jay Reatard, shot by Alex Hammond and Ian Markiewicz last year before the release of Watch Me Fall (via Matador). Definitely worth checking out. RIP, man.
Woods Family Creeps
“Party In The Pines”
Brooklyn’s Woods Family Creeps, a weirdo improv incarnation of Woods, is playing a “one-time only event” at Monkeytown in Brooklyn on January 18. Actually, it’s more like a two-time event, since they’re playing twice that day, once at 8PM and again at 10:30PM. Make your reservation now (seriously)! For you non-Brooklynites, you’ll have to just settle for this track.
Growing are set to release PUMPS in April on Vice. Here’s a track to tide you over, bumpkins.
Growing’s latest offering is another top-shelf freakout of glitch, fuzz and drone. Drum machines create dense tribal rhythms and form the bedrock for the loneliest dance floor in the universe. Vocal samples swoop in and out like starlings over effects laden synths and guitar. Growinghas given birth to a magical creation with PUMPS - it’s the audio equivalent of coming out of an anesthetic haze with a squirming pile of joy wrapped safely in your eardrums.
