♫♪  Bruce Smear - “Pick & Roll”

Just the other day I was snooping the net for some Smear to cover, and all I found was a deliciously bugged Bandcamp page featuring a slick, nameless track. Mostly, I just wanted to hear how old Bruce followed up with his DIS Magazine Smear is Here mix (something our pal DeForest Brown Jr. lost his MIND over one day in my car). Then I remembered he had an Orange Milk Records LP popping soon, and immediately forgot until I saw OM’s Facebook post about the new “Pick & Roll” video, watched it, and am still enamored.

So, right now, I’m that crab at my job and those basketball sounds are me sticking up for the hard work they don’t think I actually do. Bruce Smear really know’s how to melt hearts, and “Pick & Roll” brings that sticking-it timbre-pro vibe. It’s all hype. It’s pure hype. It’s a roll that’ll never slow. A ball that flings out into the street and you run to catch it because “Hit me, fool! Ima Mr. Smith your Matrix-ass car and collect ALL the money.” Bruce Smear is a trillionaire of sound. And “Pick & Roll” is all the fucking money in the world. Let it rain by clicking play (again, maybe) above. Also, don’t forget to keep an eye out for his new LP on Orange Milk this August for that end-all heat.
