Nina Nastasia
“Moves Away”
Nina Nastasia’s got a new album out, Outlaster, released last month on FatCat. Recorded by producer longtime collaborator Steve Albini (Shellac, Big Black, Jessica Hopper), the album may or may not be about my attempts to “outlast” my girlfriend’s previous boyfriend in bed. Listening to “Moves Away,” a short but sweet track from Outlaster, my guess is probably not. But I did still want all of you to know that I’m actually outlasing my girlfriend’s previous boyfriend in bed. Take that, Steve.
