Gatto Fritto’s self-titled debut is due April 26 on International Feel. But wait, who’s Gatto Fritto? I’m a little tired from shoveling, so let me paste part of the press release: “Gatto Fritto, what to say? Well, his Great Grandfather was one of the founders of New Australia. He’s spent the past 10 years clanking his chains around the London transport system like a protagonist from a Knut Hamsun novel. They say he emerged from the suburban witchcraft and hard drug fallout of the late 90’s, the bastard offspring of John Dee, The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists and the Parachute Regiment, with the sound of Terry Riley, the Belleville Three and Glenn Branca ringing in his ears.”
Seth Haley, a.k.a Com Truise’s excellent Cyanide Sisters EP actually came out last summer, but it’s been reissued by Ghostly International and now features four new songs, including “Innerfacer.” It’s one of those songs that, if listened to while driving, makes you feel like a total badass.

Check out San Francisco’s 3 Leaf doing their best nu-age space rock lounge routine. The entirety of this slow-building improv jam can be heard on the band’s Soundcloud. Here’s a mission statement of sorts:
Our music is improvised, though we will occasionally use small compositional cells from which to spring into new places.
Editing is not frowned upon.
Yeah, that’s what The String Cheese Incident said like 15 years ago, man.

Tyler The Creator & Hodgy Beats
Tyler The Creator and Hodgy Beats perform “Sandwitches” on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. The song was originally seen on the BLACKENEDWHITE album, released last year under the MellowHype moniker. This version… woah. Shit’s getting nasty.
