Remember when we posted about Animal Collective yesterday? No? Good, because I want to repost it here to make this story look fatter:
To coincide with their ATP fest (TMT News), which was recently sweetened by the likes of Terry Riley, Orthrelm, Big Boi, and Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 (not to be confused with Steve Reich, Ocrilim, André 3000, and Soul Asylum), the boys of Animal Collective have announced a string of European dates, which we’re guessing is an effort to make the whole trip, you know, “cost-effective” or something. Jeez, always thinking about money, these boys.
Meanwhile, Panda Bear, who clearly enjoys eating french fries, has a new solo album. It’s called Tomboy, and it’s due April 19 (TMT News).
Anyway, turns out that Animal Collective have also added a handful of gigs in California, culminating with a performance at Coachella (TMT News). Check out the dates below. (Secret bonus: scroll a little further and the tracklist for Panda Bear’s Tomboy shall be revealed!!!)
