Is anyone else besides me excited for the Gary Numan vinyl box set?

I doubt that I’m the only one excited for the August 24 scheduled arrival of the four-disc box set from Vinyl 180, which includes 180-gram heavyweight vinyl versions of Replicas, The Pleasure Principle, Tubeway Army, and a bonus disc called The Plan. All LPs are remastered from the original analog tapes and lovingly slid into deluxe gatefold sleeves made of heavyweight cardboard stock. One thing I’m sure of, though, is that every Gary Numan fan is shaking their head at the limited quantity of only 500 copies. Most Gary Numan fans are also probably wondering why the box set includes the recently reissued versions of two albums that they already own. Don’t worry, guys! That’s what bonus discs and “special deluxe editions” are for!

When queried, a local record store had this to say about the whole fracas: “I think it’s cool that Tubeway Army is being reissued as the essential document of synth-rock that it is, but what’s the deal with the box set? Probably just another set that’ll sit on the shelf for a couple years. Yeah, a couple years.”
