Balam Acab drops Child Death, first LP since 2011

What have you been doing over the last four years? Putting in work? Driving to the grocery store? Meeting up with Eileen? Not putting out LPs? If you answered “yes” to that last one at least, then you’ve got something in common with Pennsylvania producer Alec Koone, a.k.a. Balam Acab, because ever since 2011’s Wander/Wonder, he has put out exactly zero LPs. Sure there have been EPs and collaborative projects, but no LPs. And for me, LPs, which are also sometimes known as vinyls or records, are sort of the best thing in terms of musical objects. Which means on this day I am happy, because Balam Acab just dropped a brand-spanking new LP called Child Death. Despite the dark implications of this particular album’s title (children, death, etc.), it’s hard for this adult human male not to grin from ear to ear.

If you would like to purchase the album and perhaps join me in my grinning, simply visit Balam Acab’s Bandcamp and buy or stream it. Or perhaps gaze upon the embedded player below.
