Billy Corgan decides the world still needs more music from The Smashing Pumpkins, announces new EP

Here at TMT, we’ve started taking bets as to when Billy Corgan will realize that it’s time for The Smashing Pumpkins to call it quits already. I have $150 on 2025. In the meantime, The Smashing Pumpkins will continue releasing music with their new EP, The Solstice Bare, due November 23. This is the second EP from their ongoing 44-song album called Teargarden of Kaleidyscope, which is a one-song-at-a-time, free digital release project. The EP will feature the free song, in addition to four previously unreleased tracks.

In other news, The Smashing Pumpkins will hit the road next month, making stops all over South America.
