Despite having three of the best players in the NBA, the Miami Heat ain’t looking too “hot” these days. LeBron James recently sat out games due to an ankle injury, and now Chris Bosh is out with an ankle sprain, resulting in a four-game losing streak for the Heat.
Apparently, these Miami millionaires could take some inspiration from Alice Glass of Crystal Castles, who, despite having re-injured her ankle in Tokyo a couple days ago (the first ankle injury occurred late last year on their European tour), has decided to play through the pain. In fact, Glass’ ankle might even be broken, yet she still performed with Crystal Castles at the Big Day Out festival in Auckland and is so far expected to keep making her way through a European tour that’ll take the band to mid-February before their spring tour of the US.
The NBA’s trade deadline is soon. Maybe coach Spoelstra should have someone do scouting work on the Crystal Castles tour. They could use someone like Glass if they’re looking for people who can play through broken ankles. God, it’s not like they even run that much on the court. Fucking annoying.
