Even though Danny Brown is one of the most expressive musicians working these days, the complete depth of his being still eludes complete comprehension, even via his incredibly forthright discography. For instance, did you know his favorite cartoon character is Rocko from Rocko’s Modern Life? (We probably would’ve never discovered that extremely core-touching information had an in-person interview not been done in which the question was necessarily asked.)

Thankfully, the good people/robots working over at Apple Music are about to give us a deeper, richer, more multimedia-er glimpse into essesnce of Detroit, Michigan’s own Daniel Dewan Sewell when they release the new Danny Brown documentary, Live At The Majestic, in less than a week.

Directed by Andrew Cohn, the film will hit the interstellar screen on November 7, following its relatively quiet premiere last spring. It’s anyone’s guess as to how much screen time will be spent covering various cartoon insights; but otherwise, the documentary elaborates on Brown’s story as an adamant drug-dealer from Detroit, who
— somewhat remarkably — became even more adamant about becoming a successful rapper. See the poster and official trailer for the documentary below.

Also, per an interview with Complex, Brown is also working on his next album right now. All we really know is that it’s being produced by one, as yet unnamed, “legendary” hip-hop producer. Soooo…possibly Beck Hansen?
