Dedekind Cut and Yves Tumor drop collage-based mixtape as Trump$America

“I may not be making millions from one Drake beat, but I’m building a legacy. Who knows? In 20 years, you should be able to montage my body of work into a halfway decent documentary.”
– Dedekind Cut

“I’m never consciously trying to make a harsh song, or a dreamy song, or a noisy, disgusting song — it’s more a mood I want to translate.”
– Yves Tumor

“Anyone who thinks my story is anywhere near over is sadly mistaken.”
– Donald Trump

Two of TMT’s favorite artists, Dedekind Cut (f.k.a. Lee Bannon) and Yves Tumor, have come together as Trump$America to release a new joint mixtape. Recorded live at Berlin Community Radio, TA1 (bcr riff) features two collage-based tracks, one of which features Chino Amobi (NON). A free download link is available now through the description on Dedekind Cut’s Instagram.

Dedekind Cut’s debut album, $uccessor, was released earlier this year via NON WORLDWIDE/Hospital Productions, while Yves Tumor’s Serpent Music was released on PAN. Both releases made our requisite list of favorites albums of the year.

TA1 (bcr riff) tracklist:

01. TA1.1
