Dinosaur Jr. to play Bug in its entirety during summer tour, get interviewed by Henry Rollins

Hey! Call your uncle — you know the one, the guy who DJed for college radio in the 80s — and give him this great news: Dinosaur Jr. are going to play their alterna-rock fuzzed-out classic Bug in its entirety on their next tour!

The album, a certified classic unless you have horrible taste in music, spawned the totaly rocking song “Freak Scene” (which is the perfect song to listen to while driving around in a Chevy Celebrity on a major Mountain Dew-fuled caffeine rush as you and your buddies smoke pot out of an aluminum pipe and decide which bully’s doorstep you’re going to shit on) and helped establish the band as one of the Godfathers of the early 90s Alternative Rock scene and as one of the best fucking bands ever.

In addition to hearing the album from start to finish, you’ll also get the chance to listen to the band get interviewed by Henry Rollins (who’ll be doing his best to seem intelligent). If you haven’t had Bug thrust upon you by an immensely cool older-brother, then you should head over to the Merge Records store and buy your copy so that you can start memorizing the lyrics.
