Dntel lets Sub Pop reissue Life Is Full of Possibilities and Sub Pop lets Dntel tour for a month's worth of performing possibilities

Dntel and Sub Pop Records have announced their new working agreement: Dntel will allow Sub Pop to reiusse their 2001 album Life is Full of Possibilities as a two-CD set, and Sub Pop will allow Dntel to go on tour, as long as they promise to not stay up that late or drink too much.

“Back in 2001, we did not release the Dntel album Life Is Full of Possibilities,” says Sub Pop representative Ned Shneebly. “This album was originally released by the Plug Research label, and because we’ve always secretly wished we’d put it out back then, we’re going to release an expanded, re-mastered version of the album to mark its ten-year anniversary in October of 2011.” Shneebly goes on to say that the added bonus disc will feature remixes, outtakes, and B-sides, and the LP version (the first time the album has been on LP) will be a two-record, 45 RPM version of Life with the bonus material available as a download.

The new working agreement also included the dates and venues for Dntel’s upcoming tour (reprinted below) as well as various demands from both parties, such as food requests, daily chores, and a daily per diem for suits. The agreement also contains a special stipulation that states “Jimmy Tamborello shall receive $1000 everytime he hears Dntel pronounced correctly.” The agreement states that Dntel is pronounced as DON-uh-tel-OH in homage to everyone’s favorite TMNTurtle.
