Drake to release new short film, Please Forgive Me (can a Rihanna ballet be far behind?!)

Unlike “when you’re strange,” when you’re Drake, EVERYONE remembers the shit outta your name.

Not only that though; when you’re Drake, you also just do whatever you want whenever you want to do it.

According to our pals at HotNewHipHop, Drake all casually let it drop that he’d been working on a short film that would feature music from this year’s VIEWS album.

Then, last Friday after a show in Atlanta, he apparently fired-up the ol’ Instagram to report that said short film will be scored by handsome, winsome Canadian producer Noah “40” Shebib and will be ready for our reckless, greedy consumption on (drumroll…) September 30 of this year (and “presumably” via Apple Music). Boom. Faces come out of the RAIN, y’all!

The film was co-created with Anthony Mandler, who has worked on an eff-ton of videos for some people you might have kinda-sorta heard-of before like Jay Z, Rihanna, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg. NO BIG THING. He also directed previous Drake clips “Over” and “Miss Me.” Oh, to be Drake.
