The Flaming Lips have shared the second single from their forthcoming studio LP, Oczy Mlody, along with an official video. “How??” is a slow-burning psych piece with a decidedly modern, hip-hop-esque drum beat; it goes really well with the clip, which is classic Lips: oddball and foreboding at the same time.
Oczy Mlody, the band’s 15th full-length album, comes out January 13. The broken Polish title loosely translates to “The Eyes of the Young.” A 7-inch of the Lips covering David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” will accompany one of the record’s vinyl versions; details and pre-orders are available here.
