Louisville’s Forecastle Festival has music, yes, but it also has the Bourbon Lodge and Gonzo Bar, which features bourbon education and “culinary experiences.” What else do you need to know? Story = over.
OK, whatever. You’re one of those people who’s into MUSIC. Well, the fest just announced its 2016 lineup, so here ya go. You wanna see Alabama Shakes? You got Alabama Shakes. You wanna see Death Cab? You got Death Cab. Same deal with The Avett Brothers, Ryan Adams, Walk the Moon, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, Grouplove, Brandi Carlile, Washed Out, White Denim, Gary Clark Jr., and a whole lot of other people.
The three-day festival takes place in Waterfront Park, which is appropriately situated on the banks of the Ohio River, where you get to drink in the beauty of downtown Louisville while enjoying Kentucky craft beers, local food, and goods.
