Like a mama bird nudging its offspring out of the nest and into the world, FYF Fest has once again released its annual concert lineup. And they’ve got a new spot, too! Instead of L.A. State Historical Park, this year’s shindig will be held at the L.A. Sports Arena and Exposition Park, which hopefully has more shade but obviously will have less awesome Chinatown-area drinking options. But you’re not going to FYF for SHADE and LIBATIONS. You’re going for MUSIC!!!!! (Right?)
And this year, FYF is bringing you (deep breath) The Strokes, Phoenix, Interpol, HAIM, Slowdive, Flying Lotus, The Blood Brothers, Darkside, Blood Orange, Julian Casablancas, Jamie xx, Grimes, Built to Spill, Earl Sweatshirt, Four Tet, Little Dragon, Mac DeMarco, Caribou, Future Islands, Slint, Todd Terje (Live), Presidents of The United States of America, Against Me!!, Real Estate, Kelela, Death Grips, Run the Jewels, Ty Segall, Angel Olsen, Chet Faker, Avey Tare, Albert Hammond Jr., Tanlines, John Talabot (DJ Set), DJ Harvey, Tycho, Daphni, Todd Terje, La Dispute, Joyce Manor, Thundercat, and so much more.
