Brazil's Gui Boratto will make you dance on September 29 with new album Abaporu

It’s a shame what happened to Brazil in the World Cup, but with the bad comes a lot of good. Obviously, the only way that Brazilians can recover from such a loss is with some brand-new club hotness, helmed by none other than São Paulo’s own Gui Boratto. The non-footballer will unleash his fourth full-length beast of an album, called Abaporu, on September 29 through Kompakt.

On that day, Brazil’s government will institute a new holiday called International Gui Boratto Day, in which you are to drink a lot of Brahma and dance like everyone’s watching but you’re too bleary-eyed to really see, much less give two shits about. As a soundtrack for practicing your dance moves, hit play on the featured album track below and then check the tracklist.
