The Original G of woozy, zone-altering bedroom pop is now lending his smooth sax sounds to the cause of justice, plunging unruly inmates into coma-like sleep. Despite the new gig, Kenny sends a stern warning to those who might think a new nickname is in order. “Anybody who calls me Kenny Z, I’ll fuck ‘em up,” he says.
