Before James Blake released James Blake (TMT Review), one of our favorite albums of last year, and generally charmed us all to pieces, he worked under the moniker Harmonimix and remixed hip-hop tracks such as “Bills Bills Bills” by Destiny’s Child and “A Milli” by Lil Wayne.
We haven’t heard from James Blake since he released his Love What Happened Here EP last December, but he’s up to his old Harmonimix tricks again. According to FACT, Blake will be releasing his own versions of a couple tracks by Trim, “Confidence Boost” and “Saying.” They’ll be out on R&S in September, and you can listen to both tracks via YouTube below.
