Winter, shminter. Handsome, winsome troubadour-of-troubadours that he is, Sweden’s own Jens Lekman is not afraid of life on the road.
Which is why, even though he literally just finished a sold-out solo jaunt through the US (during which he previewed new material from his [still!] forthcoming follow-up album to 2012’s I Know What Love Isn’t), he just announced a whole slew of new dates for February and March of 2017 — and this time, with a full-band in tow. What a trooper.
In addition to headlining gigs at such romantic-sounding venues as LA’s Teragram Ballroom and NY’s Bowery Ballroom and Music Hall of Williamsburg, Lekman and his band will also trot back over to the UK and Scandinavia for even more shows in March and April. And after that, who knows? He might just drive around through May and June, because he’s such a ramblin’ man.
