Because of a hiccup in the legal system, I’m only technically allowed to write about Joanna Newsom every other month. And since I’m a thrill-seeker, addicted to do exactly as much crime as I am allowed under the law, I awoke this morning excited to see that Joanna Newsom had announced more dates for her first North American tour in four years. It was September when I wrote about her European tour, so I’m good to go. Let’s party.
Joanna’s gonna putter around our fair continent from end to end, and there’s nothing John Kerry or his army of minions can do to stop me from telling you all about it. She’s going to play in Boston. She’s going to play in Chicago. She’s even going to play in Australia, which isn’t actually North America, I know, but I’ll take it. She just released an album called Divers. Tiny Mix Tapes reviewed it. I always drive one mile per hour over the speed limit. I formatted all of the dates below. I also embedded the “Divers” video. I’m about to overheat from all the thrills.
