Okay, right, so I know you probably don’t give a shit about Kanye West and that obnoxious Yeezus hoopla and its related tour circuses and whatnot, like, at all (that’s why you’re reading this article all ‘bout them, right??). And, okay, THAT’S COOL. ME NEITHER. But look, whatever, here’s what you need to know to, you know, “stay current.”

Last week, this happened to Kanye’s goofy tour. In fact, there was a press release and everything. It went like this:

Yesterday, on the road to Vancouver, a truck carrying The Yeezus Tour’s custom-made video truss and 60-ft circular LED screen was in an accident that damaged the gear beyond repair. This gear is central to the staging of The Yeezus Tour, and central to the creative vision put forth by Kanye West and his design team at DONDA. As a result of this event, it is impossible to put on the show and The Yeezus Tour will be postponed until these essential pieces can be reengineered and refabricated. Kanye West will not compromise on bringing the show, as it was originally envisioned and designed, to his fans. The Vancouver, Denver and Minneapolis dates have been postponed. Further details on the affected tour dates will be announced shortly.

I know, I know; sounds lame or whatever. You don’t care. But the point is, our boys over at the fork have just reported that Mr. West has announced that the whole shebang will be getting back on track starting November 16 in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, only three of the canceled shows (the ones in Chicago, Toronto and Detroit, because those cities are actually important) are being made-up. They’re just being jammed onto the end of the tour in late December now, instead. As for the other shows? Well, those other cities (Vancouver, Denver, Columbus, Montreal, Minneapolis, and St. Louis) just aren’t important enough to the history and/or future of RAP MUSIC to make it worth his while. Sorry.

Anyway, yeah. Here’s the rundown. As Samuel Jackson would say, “hang onto your butts!” Oh, sorry. That’s Samuel L. Jackson! You probably didn’t know who I was talking about at first.
