Phew! Thanks for saving my ass, Kanye! So, remember last week when I told you about Kanye West’s plans to bring the truly American spectacle that is Yeezus to the virgin shores of Europe this summer? Well, apparently I got a little too caught up in all the great jokes about Europe I was able to bust out from my colossal internet database, because I completely forgot to mention the fact that he also had a series of dates planned for Australia in May!
But praise be to Yeezus, I was reading Pitchfork this morning like I do all the time, and I noticed that West is postponing that trip until September now! So, a) I’m totally off the hook for that shit, and b) just look at all this easy new content I get to generate for TMT now!
Yea, “officially-speaking,” the rescheduling is allegedly due to “unexpected timing requirements related to West finishing his next album,” buuuut… whatever, I like to think it’s kinda sorta secretly for me!
