Lady Gaga announces release of new album, music world braces itself for imminent polarization

In what is probably the most best advertisement that Apple has put together in a while, a weary-sounding “six time Grammy award winner” Lady Gaga took a break while “at the studio,” in the midst of doing such professional-sounding record-y things as “mixing” and “mastering,” to call-up that Beats 1 show with Zane Lowe on her iPhone 7 to officially announce the release date for her fifth (count it, fifth) studio album.

The album is called Joanne, and it’s out October 21 on that one record company. As one might expect, the album’s first single “Perfect Illusion,” also hit a week or so earlier and has since “debuted at #1 on iTunes in 60 countries” and become the “#1 most added song” on the Pop and Hot AC (“AC” stands for “adult contemporary; I looked it up) radio charts. It’s available… hmm, lets see, FUCKING EVERYWHERE. But since you’re online and reading this article right now and therefore presumably not living under a rock, you probably already knew that anyway. Still, just in case; here’s the video for it, as well as the full Beats 1 interview, down below. Who the f%#@ am I to stand in the way of progress?
