The time has come! Following 2015’s double EP In Situ on Honest Jon’s, Laurel Halo returns to Hyperdub for her third full-length. Titled Dust, the album features “a collection of breezy, broken songs, based on woody instrumentation, sub bass and restless, intricate electronics,” according to a press release. “Earnest songwriting meets with modal cut-up strategies, improvisational playing with higrade digital dust.”

Musicians joining Halo on Dust include Eli Keszler, Julia Holter, Diamond Terrifier (ZS’s Sam Hillmer), Craig Clouse ($hit and $hine), Max D, and Michael Beharie; with vocal contributions from Klein (editor’s note: !!!!), Lafawndah, and Michael Salu.

Watch the video for album track “Jelly” below, which features vocals from Klein and Lafawndah, and look for Dust June 23 on Hyperdub. Tour dates, which begin later this month, can be found down there too, on the off-chance you’re not way too excited to read stuff.

What a great way to start the day. <3
