Austin’s Levitation Festival has just announced their latest wave of performers, including Slowdive, Caribou, The Black Angels, Nicolas Jaar, Thurston Moore, Parquet Courts, Allah-Las, Oneohtrix Point Never, Shabazz Palaces, and the always-enticing “and more.” The festival takes place April 29 - May 1 at Carson Creek Ranch, where you get to camp and, you know, do stuff that people who camp do. Maybe tell ghost stories around a fire? Wake up too early because that’s when the sun comes out? I don’t know. I don’t camp.
The new additions to the fest lineup join the previously-announced Brian Wilson, Animal Collective, Lee Scratch Perry, Flying Lotus, Ty Segall, and a whole lot of other rad people. There’s a lineup video featuring a lot of majestic, lovely trees, and, like, music and stuff, if you’re into that sorta thing.
