Last time I was semi-keeping up with Weezy, the rapper declared his retirement from the music business over allegedly unpaid dues by former label boss Birdman. Well, turns out that’s old news: as MissInfo.tv reports, not only does Wayne have three recording projects in the pipeline (Tha Carter V, Funeral, and Dedication 6), but he’s also about to hit the road for a US spring tour.

The “Kloser 2 U Tour” will officially start bringing Weezy closer 2 us starting April 4 when it kicks off in Gainesville, Florida. Tickets can be purchased here, and apparently more dates are coming soon. In the meantime, check out the 12 current dates (and scope his recent cameo in Wale’s video for “Running Back”) down below.
