Lone announces North American tour dates, throws Canada a tiny bone

Manchester producer Lone a.k.a. Matt Cutler is coming to the United States in support of last month’s excellent Reality Testing LP, with one date in Toronto to make it a “North American” tour. Oldest DJ trick in the book, Cutler. The Canadians will take what they can get though, I guess — one basketball team, one baseball team, and one show from Lone. Everything in moderation.

Featuring an audio-visual component from Glasgow artist Konx-Om-Pax a.k.a. Tom Scholefield, the quick American jaunt will see Lone’s prismatic house and hip-hop in a smattering of large cities, including a token Austin date and two New York shows in one day. You can almost hear the Canadians in Montreal and Vancouver muttering, “Wait, that’s not fair” at a moderate volume. I kid because I love, my Northern friends, and I know you can take it. But until Lone announces a string of Saskatchewan dates, you guys should enjoy the blissed-out beauty of Reality Testing and then caravan your asses to Toronto for a Blue Jays/Lone dream weekend.
