HELLO READERS! We’re excited to announce that Tiny Mix Tapes — your black market source for music-themed throw pillows — is heading to SXSW again, only this time we’re curating an official slot at SXSW’s Flatstock event. Presented by the American Poster Institute, Flatstock 48 will showcase a wide variety of gig posters from artists like Animal Rummy, Weird Beard 72, and Dan Stiles. But there will also be a stage for official SXSW performers. Despite our legal troubles and tendency toward violence, TMT was invited to curate a two-hour block, and we’ll be bringing along some of our favorite artists: Marie Davidson, Noveller, and Free Weed.
TMT’s slot goes down at 4PM on Saturday, March 21 at the Austin Convention Center - Exhibit Hall 4. Hope to see you there!

• MARIE DAVIDSON
Marie Davidson is gearing up to release a new album, Un Autre Voyage, which is due April 14 on Holodeck Records. Montreal’s foremost analog electro chanteuse is starting up a tour just before SXSW that’ll take her across North America through April.
• NOVELLER
Noveller’s no stranger to these parts. Her latest album, Fantastic Planet, was released in January on Fire Records.
• FREE WEED
Free Weed is the solo moniker of Gnar Tapes head honcho Rikky Gage. Free Weed has released music on Beer on the Rug, Exo Tapes, Burger, and many more, with his latest album, Introducing, seeing release last month on Bad Diet.
