Now and then, a man and a woman who both love each other very much join together to bring something very special into the world. No, not kids, ew… what were you thinking? That’s just morally irresponsible in this bleak day and age. I meant a noise band.
Here’s a great example: Mike Connelly, of Wolf Eyes and Hair Police fame, and his wife Tara Connelly, of The Haunting fame, are introducing their latest project, Clay Rendering, to the masses in a performance on May 11 (my birthday! Clay Rendering and I will share birthdays!). The performance will be at this year’s Three Days of Struggle Festival supporting long-time friend Cut Hands (with Demdike Stare/Kevin Drumm and Failing Lights/Lussuria taking up the other two days).
Then, later this summer, the stork will bring their first release, an EP titled Vengeance Candle to be distributed by Hospital Productions as a 12-inch and digital release. Listen to one of the EP’s two tracks, “Nature’s Confusion,” over at 13:13.
