Alright, kids. Why even screw around here when it comes to a veteran band like Minus the Bear? At this point, you either like them, or you don’t, right? I mean, I could do some sort of tie-in to their latest album, Omni, released this past spring on Dangerbird; but even that seems to matter little. You’ve either got it already, or you don’t really give a shit.
Or, I guess I could mention that they’re touring the U.S. this fall, followed by a bunch of European dates opening for Jimmy Eat World. But… let’s face it, is it really doing Minus the Bear any good to be mentioned in the same sentence as Jimmy Eat World? Not around these parts, it ain’t.
Well, it seems as though the least I could do is list the dates for you below, though even that seems kinda arbitrary to me. You’re either “so totally going,” or you’re not even reading this. Right? Right. But, hey, now that I think about it, I guess I can say one thing definitively about Minus the Bear: they are a band who is touring this fall. Yup. Sure as shootin’.
