The very existence of Mute Records' Mexico Festival proves definitively that there is a God

Scientists have proved that there is a God! J/K — this article proves it. The existence of a higher life form has been proved by the very fact that Festival Mute Mexico, a Mute Records-centric label fest at Valentín Gómez Farías in Tlaquepaque, exists. Curated by label founder Daniel Miller, this shindig promises live performances from Liars, Ben Frost, and Land Observations, plus DJ sets from Vince Clarke (Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Erasure), Irmin Schmidt (Can), Apparat, and Mr. Miller himself. Also appearing: Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.

The festival is part of something called Dual Year UK — MX 2015, which will see two wonderful nations offering cultural opportunities and festivals on each other’s home turf. It takes place on Saturday, March 21. But of course, the most convincing evidence is that this whole glorious happening is 100% totally free (except for the minutes of your life you’ll have to spend reserving the tickets on the Mexican Ticketmaster website).
