SHAPE affiliate Peder Mannerfelt (a.k.a. The Subliminal Kid and one-half of duo Roll the Dice) has just dropped his third full-length under his own name. On Controlling Body, the Swedish electronic musician makes a return to the experimental spirit of his 2014 debut, Lines Describing Circles, this time placing vocals by Glasser at the center of his aesthetic interrogation, heightening its textural and signifying possibilities through manipulation and processing.

Controlling Body sees release both digitally and on vinyl through his own Peder Mannerfelt Produktion, marking the label’s first physical full-length release. Check out an exclusive stream of bonus track “Mother & Crow” below, and purchase Controlling Body here.

Be sure to also check out Mannerfelt performing at a number of upcoming festivals, including MUTEK Montréal (June 1-5) and Skaņu Mežs (Riga, October 13-15). His next performance is this week at Rokolectiv festival in Bucharest.
