PJ Harvey brings out her emo side on new album on Vagrant

At first I thought April Fool’s Day had come early when I read that PJ Harvey’s new album, Let England Shake, which follows 2007’s respectable White Chalk (TMT Review), was coming out on Vagrant Records on February 15, 2011. But one visit to Vagrant’s website confirmed that the emo heavyweight label is indeed lending a helping hand to Ms. Harvey. Hm, I suppose stranger things have happened. I guess we’ll have to wait until February to see if any of Vagrant’s familiar faces dropped by Harvey’s recording sessions.
