Run DMT at Warped Tour. I still don’t understand. I thought Warped Tour was for punk rawk bands who burn their hair stick straight and wear super dark eye makeup and scream a lot about feeling mad or sad, not an electronic dude who’s remixed Major Lazer and Hundred Waters.
I guess I’m just way out of touch, because apparently Warped Tour has decided to include a handful of EDM artists in this year’s lineup, and Run DMT is one of them, because that’s what the kids are into these days. Honestly, I think they’re just trying to lure Skrillex back, because I guess they’ve maybe been on nasty terms since his old emo band From First to Last decided not to play the festival at the last minute in 2006 if they couldn’t be guaranteed an afternoon slot on the main stage. But ya know, that might not be the case at all.
So, let’s all dye our hair neon colors and dig out our checkered Vans and go to Warped Tour this year?
