Run The Jewels added as playable characters in Gears of War 4, announce North American tour dates

El-P and Killer Mike, two halves of the Legion of Doom that is Run The Jewels, have announced the first leg of their “Run The World” tour. This leg will mark RTJ’s first full-scale tour of North America since 2015. In their intervening absence, it seems as though worldwide levels of fuckboy shit have multiplied to a historical high. So once again, we must turn to El-P and Killer Mike to give tyranny a double chokeslam, on a magnitude of which it has never experienced before.

“Run The World” kicks off in January with over a month’s worth of North American dates, with more to come around the world. The tour is in support of RTJ3 (which has no release date yet, but hey, maybe it will be out by the time the tour starts) and will feature guests like The Gaslamp Killer, Spark Master Tape, and CUZ.

Shockingly, but also making complete sense, El-P and Killer Mike are now playable characters in the video game Gears of War 4. No, seriously, here’s the trailer for it; it’s basically the video game trailer equivalent of a Run The Jewels song.

The duo have also shared “Talk To Me,” the first punch thrown from RTJ3 that will surely be coming any day now, which you can check out below, along with the tour dates for the North American leg of the “Run The World.”
