Secret Cities sign to Western Vinyl; meanwhile, Atlantis and the Bermuda Triangle are still playing basement shows

The lost city of Atlantis and the Bermuda Triangle are super pissed. Why? Because while they’re struggling to find gigs playing your cousin’s Bar Mitzvah, their arch rival band, Secret Cities, has gone and gotten themselves signed to Western Vinyl. Hailing from Fargo, North Dakota, Secret Cities are described in a press release as “a cocktail of Spector-esque doe-eyed romanticism” with “electronic flourishes indebted to minimalist composers like Terry Riley and the noisy, art damaged sensibilities of late psych groups like The United States of America.” Their first release on Western Vinyl is Bright Teeth, a double A-side digital single. After that comes their debut album Pink Graffiti in June, followed by a sweet summer of touring.
