The good people at SHAPE, a platform of 16 European music & art festivals aimed at supporting emerging artists, has put together a few shows in August ahead of a busy fall season. The two SHAPE-affiliated artists involved this time around include Icelandic cellist Hildur Guðnadóttir and post-techno producer Ketev (a.k.a. Yair Elazar Glotman).
Guðnadóttir will open for Sunn O))) (featuring its original Greg Anderson/Stephen O’Malley duo lineup) on August 8 at Berlin’s Heimathafen Neukölln, presented by CTM Festival. She’ll follow that up with a performance August 29 on the Ljubljana river in Slovenia, as part of SONICA’s “Classics” concert series. Ketev, meanwhile, is performing a club night August 13 at Berlin’s Berghain Kantine, presented by label Where To Now? and CTM. Go to them all!
