Tim and Eric go on awesome and great tour this summer!
Excellent tour, sweet job!

Oh Daddy!

Hey all you baby boys out there you better come out strong for Tim and Eric’s 10 Year Anniversary Awesome Tour! Otherwise I’ll tell your Pep-Pep that you stayed home making cream from your dingus past witching hour and he’ll send you a box-full of roaches. You thought TMT didn’t know about your Dad’s roaches? We know he’s been growing foul, stinking roaches in your bedroom ever since you left on a Fülbright [sic] to Quallege.

Uh, by which I mean: it’s been 10 years since the great comedy duo Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim launched their influential and important Adult Swim variety show Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! (and 7 years since it ended), but they’ve apparently still got enough (a) good will toward each other and (b) solid material left to warrant a delightful sojourn around the US this summer, the agenda for which (according to the press release) is to “celebrate this incredible decade of Tim and Eric with a number of new spoofs and goofs, riffs and bits, songs and dances and hope to create memories to last a lifetime.” Awwww.

Far from having fallen off the cutting-edge of comedy since Awesome Show’s retirement, recent projects include Tim and Eric’s Bedtime Stories, a long-form, Twilight Zone/Black Mirror-style jump-scare/psych-horror-scare TV-series; Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule a John C. Reilly-starring edgy and on-topic news/medical advice experiential-learning public-access-homage series; and a feature-length dystopian-futurist-flop entitled Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie. Tim has also been producing and starring in a patriotism-referencing web-series called Decker and a film review series called On Cinema at the Cinema alongside Greg Turkington a.k.a Neil Hamburger. He also released an album of original songs titled In Glendale last year.

Eric, meanwhile, has pursued his passion for food and travel whilst occasionally popping up with music video direction credits. Such videos include Mr. Oizo’s “Rubberhead,” Beach House’s “Wishes,” and of course Kanye West’s “Famous.”

Pre-sale tickets for the 10 Year Anniversary Awesome Tour are available Wednesday, March 22 (and general admission on March 24) here. Get em’, cool kid. Meanwhile, check out a promotional video for the tour below. I bet it’s comedic in nature.
