Titus Andronicus announce live album, support live album with live tour dates

Did you know that Titus Andronicus — a cute Jersey band with some grand ambitions whom we’re perennially fond of ‘round these parts — have a new live album coming out on Merge Records?

Did you know that it’s called S+@dium Rock : Five Nights at the Opera and that it documents the five consecutive nights back in July 2015 when the band (incredibly) sold out Shea Stadium? And that its A-side “revisits some of [last year’s] TMLT's most celebrated hits in a newly concise context, stripping away all studio wizardry until only the primal passion remains," while the B-side offers "fresh electric arrangements" of that album's largely acoustic fifth act, as well a previously-unreleased outtake from the record called “69 Stones”? And that it comes out digitally on July 29 and in LP form on August 5?

And speaking of "69 Stones," did you know that, according to singer Patrick Stickles, “69 Stones” is a song about “the weight that we all carry and the biological imperatives which keep us carrying it year after year, however arduous the task may seem [...] the same urges which keep our animal friends on the hunt motivate we humans too – perhaps this is also what keeps [Titus Andronicus] on the road, compulsively rocking as we will do”? AND that you can watch a performance that the band recently shared for the previously unreleased track “69 Stones” (which, duh, will totally be included on S+@dium Rock) for FREE? RIGHT NOW?? Down below???

AND! Finally! Speaking of Titus Andronicus on the road, did you know that they've also announced a new live tour of North America, christened "Rockers on the Road," in support of said live album?

You did?
